What to expect

We provide the boats, licensed guides and tackle you’ll need to catch the big one! You’ll stay in one of our private cabins located just outside of Soldotna in a beautiful setting overlooking Loon Lake, or other deluxe accomodations depending on your needs and availability.

Each cabin sleeps 2 to 4 people and is fully equipped with a kitchenette, barbeque and storage for your catch. Food is available at the local grocery store or at any of the many fine restaurants located near by.

A rental car is recommended, but local taxi service is available.

You’ll need to bring your personal items such as clothes (layered for cool weather), rain gear, sun glasses, hat, camera, ect. Your cabin is already equipped with towels, soap and fresh linens.

You’ll always want to have your camera ready, because you never know what you’re going to see just around the next corner!

Travel Details

Car rental

You’ll want to have a rental car while you’re here. Cars are available in both Anchorage and Kenai. They tend to be a little cheaper in Anchorage. The drive from Anchorage takes about 3 hours and is breath taking all the way. Reserve your car well ahead of time for the best rates and availability. If you choose to fly from Anchorage to Kenai it is about a 20 minute flight and cars are available at the airport.
 
What to do with your Fish

 Your fish will be cleaned by your guide. We have vacuum packing available for our guest at a nominal charge of .75 cents a bag. We have freezers on location to store your catch till you’re ready to leave. Or you can freeze your fish and send it anywhere you want over night by FedEx.    
 
Deposits

A 50% deposit is required to hold a date. We take Visa and MasterCard. Your deposit is fully refundable up to 60 days before your trip. Less than 60 days there is a 25% cancellation fee. Less than 30 days no refund will be issued; your deposit will be applied to a future trip. Your balance is due 30 days before your arrival. We take Visa and MasterCard or personal checks.
